Pick Your Date
Though last minute adventures may be fun, the parties that are planned in advance are the successful ones. Better get…cracking’ on calling us for catering! For future holidays and events, talk friends and family that you’d like to invite, and let them know the date you are considering before moving forward.
Create Your Menu
Decide what you are going to serve so that you can have everything you need in advance. Get out a pad and pen and brainstorm appetizers, drinks, sides, main dishes, and deserts. Preparation
If you are going DIY style…do as much prep work ahead of time as possible. From making hamburger patties to chopping pork ribs, from assembling kabob skewers to chilling your potato salad you can never prep too much. And what’s an outdoor cookout without a ready flame? Be certain to have plenty of charcoal or propane on hand. Nothing kills a great BBQ like a cold grill while you run out to the store to grab more fuel. Condiments
Have plenty of ketchup, mustard, pickles, and buns on hand for all of your guests. Stubby’s BBQ can help with our mouthwatering BBQ sauce. Add a generous helping of sauce to your menu as you create it. Remember, when it comes to sauce and ice, a great party has never ending supplies of both!
Atmosphere
What’s a great party without some music? Remember to strike a happy medium between styles of music, and the volume of your picks. Music should be loud enough to be heard, but not too loud to make conversation difficult. When selecting a style of music, avoid music which could have offensive ideas or lyrics.
